Painting at Kabwata

by Sue Pomeroy in Uncategorized

We had sent money out to repaint 5 classrooms we thought but when I got there they explained that it had taken far more paint for each room than they realised, I guess the plaster absorbed the paint a lot. Any way they proudly showed me the four classrooms that they had decorated.

The first picture shows the message they wrote for me. The seond and third picture show Robin’s room, the fourth shows Neil’s room,  the fifth is Richard’s room and the sixth, which was due to be finished the following weekend is Peter’s room

It was also good to see that the Head has had burglar bars fitted to the windows and doors so that the classrooms are secure and teachers can now put up displays without the fear of coming in on Monday so find they have all been ripped down.

Great progress, four classrooms repainted only 15 more to go. Please keep donating if you would like to see these rooms become clean and interesting classrooms for the children to work in.
